Damian Serafine has been a long standing presence in the Coffee Industry.  Damian was trained in New York as Master Roaster of coffees.  He is a  Certified Barista in the United States.  Damian Serafine moved to Phoenix in 1993 from New York.

He opened the first Coffee Cart in the Valley in 1994 partnering with Daniel Wayne (now owner of Lola Coffee) located on Central Avenue and Monroe Street.  In 1995 they became a subcontractor  with ARAMARK.  With this venture, they opened a Coffee & Juice Bar inside the Phoenix Convention Center and Symphony Hall.  The next year They operated the full bar service as well as the coffee bar inside the Herberger Theater.  In 1997 they opened a coffee bar inside the Scottsdale Center for the Arts as well as a full service Coffee House inside the Historic San Carlos Hotel.  This was one of only three Coffee Houses to open in Phoenix in the early years of the Coffee Explosion, even before Starbucks was prominent here in the valley.  With roasting their own beans and their broad knowledge of coffee, Damian & Daniel helped Phoenix break new ground with specialty coffees as well as educating patrons.

In 2011, Damian Opened ONE COFFEE CO located at One N. Central Ave as a full service coffee bar, roasting on premises.

In  2013 Damian and his family moved back to NY to open another coffee house & roastery in downtown Rochester next to the Eastman School of Music. He and his family soon discovered they missed the Valley of the Sun too much, so in May of 2016 they ventured back and are settled here for good!

With 3 locations now in the Valley, we looking forward to serving the Downtown area a great product while keeping true to our passion for coffee and the ultimate COFFEE EXPERIENCE.
